Location : |
 Saint-Jean-de-Monts is situated on the Atlantic coast. The town is separated by a pine tree-lined sand dune that extends from north to south. The heart of the town is located on the eastside of the sand dune; however, the western side fronting the beach is more lively in summer.
The town’s famous beach is the main attraction, with its wide-open spaces extending 8 kilometers along the coast. The beach is popular with families because of its shallow, calm water.
